Anyway John is just A Trainer Guy following along with Jade on her roadtrip of discovering and studying ALLLLLL the legendary types there is. She loves the legends of them. She’d have like a team of way overpowered lvl99 Pokemon making John look like a fucking baby.
They meet with Rose and Dave when John loses a gym battle against Rose, and John begs her to join them so she can teach him how 2 become a really good trainer and Rose accepts only really because Jade is….. cute….. and they’re both equally as nerdy about ye ancient Pokemon. Dave Tags Along.
